Garbage truck addiction/ Christmas Shopping

My son, Liam is completely addicted on every level to garbage trucks, garbage men, and trash cans. It doesn't matter... real, toys, cheesy 80's movies, books. He loves it all. I find a hard time finding new toys to buy him. Every time a holiday rolls around that's the first thing he ask for is, Garbage Trucks! I had found it difficult to find new things to buy him, because he owns most of them. Christmas is just a 26 short days away!

Here are a few exciting gifts I have found:

This garbage truck pillow is adorable! Such a great price too!

I also found this cute little green dumpster.
I also got him this really cool jack hammer, I really hope I don't regret this decision!

This green garbage truck is really cool, made by Fast Lane.

I also think Bruder's toys makes some amazing garbage trucks, but they are pricey. Well made and large toys. They also have an amazing collection of tractors and other vehicle toys.
Good luck shopping. Share come neat gifts, or awesome sales you have stumbled across with me...

Truck Birthday Goodie Bags

If you ask Liam, He would proudly tell you he is having a "garbage Truck" birthday!
I however would like to say it is a commercial truck and construction theme : )
But which ever way you prefer works for me.
For this project I used a lot of things from

I thought these Goodie boxes came out perfect, and I just know they kids are going to love them!
I started out using Chinese take out boxes that I got at Michaels Crafts for .98 each.
I also picked up scrap book papers that I used as the black and white stripe on the outside of the box, and found stickers and die cuts to put in the center.
Most of the goodies I purchased from Oriental trading. They have almost anything you can think of, great prices and inexpensive. I filled my goodie boxes with sign lollipops, a cone, 1 matchbox construction car, tiny signs, stickers, and a couple car gummy chews.
I thought they came together nicely and everything fit perfectly inside!
I used glue dots for a lot of this project, those are my go to glue!

I cant wait to see what the kids think!

Here is the finished goodie boxes they came out amazing if I say so myself : )

What do you think?
I can't wait to see what the guest think!

Here is a another photo, image of the content and close up of the box. Enjoy!

In the back groud you can see one of t he construction signs I will be using for the party!

Stay tuned for more of Liam's Second Birthday and truck loads of fun.......
